The texture is just like other jams. The flavour is a little bit sour. I definitely like the strawberry flavour more than this one. The strawberry one is sweet and fruity. This is not bad, though . If you want a twist in the flavour or if you want to combine this with other ingredients, this may be your choice. I put this on my scones abd plain bread and I definitely think strawberry is better
