I have now taken vitamin C 2 grams daily for 1.5 years with no problems. If I take sometimes more, I might get loose bowels but then I switch to 50/50 with sodium ascorbate and everything is fine again. This particular product is a high-quality product from a large and established manufacturer. It has practically no additives (only vegetarian capsule). It has an optimum dosage of 500mg. I take this every four hours on an empty stomach together with lysine, bioflavonoids and potassium citrate. This way I can get the maximum concentration in the blood. Once a day I also take proline. All together, they will do some amazing work in my blood vessels, transporting fat and cholesterol to the right places and keeping everything clean and strong. I drink 2-3 liters of water every day to avoid kidney stones. This particular product is the best ascorbic acid product that I know of, and probably the best supplement of all supplements.

This is the best Quality C on the market, as the trademark "Quali-C" implies. It is sourced from Scotland and not China. I have used this brand for years now, and switch between caps and powder. The caps are good for those rushed times or travel, and the powder is easily dissolved in water. Highly recommend!

We can't find a better deal for a 1000 mg vitamin C capsules, plus, we trust the Now Foods brand, so this is our family choice when it comes to v C. We are a heavy v C consumers, so we take care of the 500 capsules in a couple o months or so, depending seasons, but if you are a light consumer, you might want to consider a smaller container, since you don't want the vitamins to lose their strength as the time passes.
