Once you try this you'll never go back to supermarket brands. Cheap canned tuna from a supermarket is so gross- it always looks like a mixture of different body parts, is mushy and brown, etc. Yuck! But this tuna on the other hand is excellent- nothing but white/pink breast meat. Yum!
When I buy tuna, I want it to be high quality, wild-caught, dolphin safe packed in olive oil. You can't compare good tuna to some of the cheap, dry tuna in the supermarket, but I don't always want the super-fancy tuna in glass jars that costs over $15 a jar. This ticks all the boxes.
Love the taste of this tuna, it's a fillet of tuna opposed to broken up bits, of I don't know what. I have bought this tuna many times and endorse it, I even sent my brother six cans now he's hooked too. Down side he’s asking me for it on a regular basis, it initially started as a birthday gift
The absence of added salt makes this taste more like fresh tuna than other canned varieties. It's tender and soft due to being packed in olive oil, and is great to add as-is to salads or pasta dishes. It's so moist that tuna fish salad for sandwiches need only a tiny bit of mayo. It may cost a bit more than some tuna, but the quality is superb.
